Wonderflex® Pro is a heat-activated composite material, which contains its own adhesive.
Wonderflex® Pro does not contain the reinforcing mesh found in regular Wonderflex, so it can be stretched and formed into more complex and detailed shapes than regular wonderflex material.
It has a smooth surface, with one side blank. It is easy to paint or decorate with a variety of materials. The material is remarkably light, but at the same time it has superior strength and flexibility. It is suitable for headgear, substructures, decorative effects, props, masks and much more. Because it is so robust and can be molded to any shape or thickness, it is well suited for quick repairs or modifications.
A steamer, heat gun, or simply hot water can be used for activation. A soldering iron can also be used.
With a low activation temperature of 70°-80° C, Wonderflex®Pro has a long activation time, and can be worked with for 2-3 min, and reheated if necessary.
It works with or without molds, and is easily cut with a knife or scissors. It bonds well to itself, and can be attached to porous materials such as paper, fabric, foam or Fosshape®.
TIP! WonderflexPro can be easily pressed into silicone molds when activated by heat, and can therefore be used to create quite good details. As soon as the material has cooled down, it can be removed from the mold.
