Hydrion 0-13 Mechanical pH Pencil
This pen is used in many places in the world, Hydrion pH pens have therefore helped to set the standard for fast, easy and accurate testing of surface pH. This Hydrion pH pen measures pH to the nearest whole pH value. It can be used on many different surfaces and even on porous materials. It gives a clear single color matching the supplied color scale (from pH 0.0 to 13.0).
The PH Pencil is therefore used to detect acid or alkali residues and can be used to measure the pH of e.g.:
paper, wood, concrete, cement, plasterboard, primed surfaces, painted surfaces, textiles, leather and ceramics
PRODUCT DIRECTIONS
To measure the surface pH just wet the surface with distilled water. Stroke the surface with the pencil. Wait approximately 15 seconds and compare the resulting color change with the color chart.
To advance pencil lead, simply turn the pencil top clockwise.
Each pencil will give the user at least 100 tests.
