Museumstjenesten has long collaborated with skilled paper conservators to get the ABSOLUTELY right Japan paper into our range.

Directly imported from Japan. The fine paper comes home both as sheets and as small narrow rolls ("tape roll sizes").

We have found a small manufacturer in the Tosa mountains in Japan who makes high-quality washi/Tengu from Japanese kozo. In fact, it is the manufacturer that makes the thinnest Japan paper in the whole world. The thinnest product they can produce weighs just 2 grams. As they themselves say, it is like the wings of a mayfly.

Museumstjenesten has visited the manufacturer itself, and we have found that their professional pride and their high quality fully meet our high demands for the product. So we look forward to being able to deliver this beautiful and fine product to our customers.

THE BEAUTIFUL WASHI PAPER IS DELIVERED FROM THE TOSA MOUNTAINS IN JAPAN DIRECTLY TO US AT MUSEUMSTJENESTEN.
